Variable flow conditions and shoreline shear stresses have to be considered, as well as the effects of flooding, runoff, topography, and the need to protect water quality and aquatic and wildlife habitats. Composite Systems: Utilizing a combination of products or materials can frequently improve not only the quality of the solution but frequently reduce the total cost. Here are just a few:

Reinforced TRM Vegetated slope with a coir log toe – the coir log helps create a vegetated lake edge for 5 to 7 years while also anchoring the TRM on the slope.

• All are contiguous systems. They will not unravel as all materials are interlocked or interwoven.
